Trent Bridge Day 4: England Vs West Indies

Marlon Samuels hit Greame Swann for 16 in an over.
The remaining West Indies batsmen put up some resistance, but both James Anderson and Tim Bresnan finished with four wickets to bowl WI out for 165, setting England 108 to win. Marlon Samuels finished with a brave 76*, including hitting Graeme Swann for 16 in an over. He lost out on “Man of the Match” to Bresnan, for which he should feel slightly hard done by, but his reputation has been advanced infinitely by his performances on this tour. England supporters might have had a few nerves after England's recent history with seemingly straightforward chases, but Strauss, Cook and Trott put them to bed as England strolled home by nine wickets just after tea. With the Wisden Trophy already in the bag, the selectors may be looking to give the fringe bowlers more of a chance in the final Test.
